Security

Harvey World Travel will endeavor to take all reasonable precautions to maintain the security of the information in our systems. We use a combination of security measures to prevent the unauthorised access of our servers and regularly review our security policies.

We use a company called Verisign to provide a certificate of authentication so that you can be confident that you are dealing with Harvey World Travel and not another website. You can view this certificate from the payment page of our Flights Booking System.

The payment pages of this site are encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 3.0 with 128bit encryption). This means that the information from these pages are sent back to our server in a secure fashion and can not be intercepted.

For credit card payments, we use a secure electronic payment gateway from Card Access Services (CAS). This system conforms to the highest security standards used by banks and other financial institutions. For more information about this system please refer to www.cardaccess.com.au. As an additional precaution, we also remove any credit card information from our e-commerce servers after a transaction has been completed.

In the event of unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify the institution that issued your credit card immediately. Under the conditions of your credit card, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of a fraudulent transaction.
